Yoga Props
Dear Yogi, here are some props we use in our practice and want to share with you too!
Why use props? They can assist with relaxation, balance, support, and posture. Sounds great right?! So we have Included tools like blocks, belts, straps, bolsters, blankets, and even some of our favorite mats. Check back often as we are trying out new things all the time and will be sure to pass them along if we “love them, love them, gotta gotta have them!” In our blog, we go on to explain tips and tricks on how and when to use the props and how they can benefit your personal practice.
“The yoga pose you avoid the most you need the most.”
Gaiam Cork Blocks
We chose these blocks for their affordability as well as the reliable support the cork provides the wrist.
Yoga Strap
Yoga straps are helpful to achieve a deeper stretch safely without forcing the body into the posture.
Block and Strap Bundle
This bundle comes with two foam blocks and a strap. The foam blocks are great for deep stretching and relaxation as they are softer and more forgiving than the cork blocks. We still recommend the cork if you’ll be using under the hands.
Yoga Wheel Bundle
Yoga wheels provide a safe deep decompression of the spine as well as assisting the body safely to increase spinal extension range. This is great for anyone with back pain or those hoping the deepen their backbends!
Jade Yoga Mat
We love love love this mat! It’s lightweight, durable, and easy to clean.
Amber Glass Spray Bottle
Great for cleaning your mat or to mix your essentials oils in for a room scent refresher!
Ajna Yoga Bolster
We love this bolster for it’s super soft material and how easy to clean it is! Plus, look at those colors! Must have to those yin yoga and stretch yoga classes…and savaaasana!!
Yoga Blanket
Blankets are great props to use under the wrists, knees, lower back, and even shoulders while practicing shoulder stand inversions… oh yeah and savasana!
